I currently live in Kansas City but I grew up in Miami. I discovered my interest in photography in 1972, when my college roommate bought a 33 mm camera. I was studying accounting at the time. After picking up that camera, I decided to change direction and become a photographer.
There are no accidental images. Art occurs when a photograph moves beyond an encounter of light and subject. A photograph can be more than a mere document.
I am currently working on themes that deal with love, loss, mortality and memory.
